Final Blog!!!

I  have enjoyed being in this class with all  of you. I really enjoyed the papers we had to write, I liked the topics of all of them. The only one that I had trouble coming up with how to write it was the advertisement anaylsis paper. It was not because I did not like the topic it is just because I write better papers when it comes more from a personal experience. I am gonna miss coming to this class twice a week. Mr. N was a really great teacher and was a lot of fun in class. I really enjoyed his class, and hope to take another English class with him as my teacher.

My dad leaves again!!!

So my dad came home from Slovakia on November 18th. He was so happy to be home, and I had a lot of fun with him while he was home. We went to Baxter's to shoot pool last Saturday, went to my grandma's house for Thanksgiving on Thursday and then to my other grandma's house on Friday for Thanksgiving. The rest of the time he was home, my mom, dad, boyfriend and I all just stayed home and watched movies, so we could all spend time with him. On Sunday, November 28th he left again for California until December 17th. Then he will come home for Christmas and New Year's and on January 3rd he will leave again for Serbia. I hate it that he has to travel all the time because I do not get to see him a whole lot, and he has to miss a lot of moments in my life that are important to me, such as when turned 21. I wish he was here for that but he could not be. I am glad that my dad does something that makes him happy, and I know understand that he hates being gone from home, but he likes what he does.

Worst day of my Life!!!

Last night I went to my boyfriend's house to spend the evening with him and when I got home my dog Brandy had vomited up a plastic bag. Wondering where she had got it from and why in the heck she would eat a plastic bag. My mother and I both work at the vet's office here in Red Bud, so right away we were concerned. My dog Brandy will be 16 years old in June, I have had her ever since she was born, so she is means the world to me. Right away I gave her some food to see if she would eat, after vomiting, but she would only drink water. This morning when I woke up she had vomited some more, so I called my mother at work and she told me to bring her up and they would palpate her stomach to see if they could feel anything and possibly take x-rays to see if anything shows up. I hated to leave her, but they told me before I left they would call me right away if anything changed, to where I needed to be there right away. If they do see something they may have to do surgery, because otherwise it can cause a twisted stomach which would kill her instantly. I can not wait to get out of class to go see her. Although it sounds weird she has been my best friend through everything, she is the one that I can talk to and I know she will not tell anyone. When I am crying she will lay her head on my lap and look up at me with her big brown eyes, which instantly puts a smile on my face and lets me know everything will be alright.

Only 10 more days!!!

So I am sitting here thinking about something to write about, and I am completely clueless. The only thing that comes to my mind is my dad and how only ten more days and he will be flying back home. I cant hardly wait! It has been hard without him trying to keep up on the house work and yard work, I never realized why excatly he is so tired all the time and how much house work he has to do, not including a full 12 hour day at his career job. Dad left on September 25th and is finally able to come home on November 18th. I have talked to him once every week to check up on him, and make sure he is staying out of trouble. Dad was not able to be here for my 21st birthday or his 50th birthday or my mom and his anniversary. Thats okay though because as soon as he gets home we are going to go out and celebrate that weekend, because in ten days he leaves again till christmas, then again in january for four months. Im so excited he is coming home!!

My 21st bday party bus

On sat night the night before halloween, my parents got my a party bus to go bar hoping on with all my friends to celebrate my birthday. I invited all my friends and had quite a few people show up. We all had a great time! The bus picked all of us up at the American legion in Prairie du Rocher, then we went to Modoc, then Evansville, than the V in Red Bud, The Office, and then Frieda's bar in Renault, then we all got dropped back off at the legion in Rocher, and drove to Lisa's bar right up the street and Rudy's which is right next door to Lisa's. Everyone wore a costume on the bus also, and we took tons of pictures the entire ngiht. Last wedsenday night me and my cousin Jessica made 200 Jell-O shots to take on the bus and we only came came home with 10 left in the cooler.

Only 9 more days!!!!

 Only nine more days till my 21st birthday, I am so excited! On wedensday october 20th, I turn 21 and I am going to class in the morning, get out at two and going home to get ready for the, Five finger death punch, and drowning pool concert. The best part about it is that I have pit tickets for the concert so I will be right at the stage. My mom said I need a shirt to wear that says its my birthday to the concert, but I think that is her hint to me that she bought me one or had one made! haha. She was never good I hiding stuff from me! Also before the concert I am hopefully going to go get my tattoo, that I have always wanted. The tattoo that I want to get is a pair or cowboy boots and a cowboy hat sitting on top of them at an angle, and around the boots and hat I would like it to say cowgirls dont cry. Then my birthday will contiue on October 30, which is when I am having my party. My parents rented a party bus for me, and whoever comes on the bus has to wear the halloween costume, at least I am hoping everybody will. Because if they do it will make it interesting. Another good thing about having it that weekend is because there are several bands playing at the local bars that we are going to.

Hay Ride and Bon Fire Season

 Fall is finally here. Fall is probably my favorite season because i enjoy all the bon fires, hay ride, hot chocolate and the haunted trails, and haunted houses. Friday I went to the haunted creole house in Prairie du Rocher, and I highly recommened going through it. I like it because i enjoy listening to the story throughout the entire trail, and if you are like me, im not big on the really scary haunted trails and I think that is why enjoy the Creole house so much. Saturday night my friends had a huge bon fire and hay ride, we let at 8 pm and didnt not get back to their house until 1 or 1:30. It was so much fun! Chili and hot chocolate, yummmmm! I love it!! I am looking forward to many more bon fires and hay rides to come this season! Another way I can tell Fall is here is when you got to break your coverhalls out to go to a outdoor party. Yes, it was chilly saturday night so i Had to break my carhart coverhalls and coat out. I am sooooo excited!!!

I miss you Dad!!!!Already!!!

How was everyone's weekend? I hope you all had a great weekend, cause although mine was boring I had a pretty good one myself. Friday night I went out to eat with my family because my dad had to leave on Sunday for czechvokia, so we all went to Tractors in Perryville, Missouri to eat. Then Saturday morning I had to be in Belleville for a HAZMAT training class since I am in EMT class it was required we had to sit throught a lecture of hazardous materials from eight am till four thirty pm, it was so boring!! I almost fell asleep twice, but they told us at the beginning of the class that if we fell asleep or was on our cell phones we would get kicked out!!! So I tried my best to stay awake. Then when we finally got out of that class I went to the fourwheeler races at B.E.T outside of Belleville, I was suppose to race but I couldnt because you had to be there to practice and sign up at nine in the morning, so I just went to watch and see what was expected of me for next year to race. Then sunday I went with mom to take dad to the airport, and then came home and slept the day away, it was rainy and it was a really good day just to relax and catch up on homework.

Can't Wait for this Weekend!!!

Hello everyone, do you know what your plans are for this coming weekend? Well, I do not really have any plans for this weekend, yes there are several things going on that I would really like to go to or do, but I really have not made any decisions for sure yet. About three months ago I started racing four wheeler's on flat track, which is a flat circle track. I raced one time and fell in love with it, so I started looking online for a four wheeler already set up for flat track racing that I could buy and I found one. This Cannondale Canniable 440 that I found was already set up, and the guy that I bought it from happend to be last years track champion at the race track on the left right before you come into Belleville along route 159, and this was the bike he raced. Him and his dad were so surprised to see a girl wanting to race, they thought it was really cool. Well the race that he got track champion at and the one that I was gonna race at, is this weekend. I have not yet decided if I ma going to race or not I am thinking about chickening out. I may just wait till next year. Even if I do not race this weekend I am still suppose to go four wheeler riding at a friends house on Saturday. So I hope everyone has a great weekend and be safe! 

Labor Day Weekend

I had a really awesome time, friday night and then saturday, Sunday and Monday I felt like crap all weekend. Friday night I went to Lisa's bar to listen to the band Aftershock play. We danced all night untill they finally closed the bar down at 1 am then we sat n the street till 2, while I convinced my friend David to have an after party at his house. At this point n the morning everyone had consumed quiet a bit of alcohol, to where everything they did was hilarious. I finally got home at 4 am and then had to be at work Saturday morning at 6 am in Red Bud. I was so tired after only having two hours of sleep friday night, I was suprisingly wide awake, until about noon then I started to wear down quick and all I felt like doing was sleeping. Saturday after work I left for French Village, Missouri to go camping and four wheeler riding all weekend, except Sunday morning I woke up with a horrible head cold, so the rest of the weekend I did not feel like doing anything but sleeping. But Friday night was probably the best night of my entire weekend.
